The TACHS (Test for Admission to Catholic High Schools) exam is the entrance exam that is required for students who would like to attend a Catholic High School. Students enrolled in the eighth grade during the 2025-2026 school year, wishing to apply for Fall 2026 admission to Catholic high schools within the Archdiocese of New York, the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens, or the Diocese of Rockville Centre (Long Island) are eligible.
2025 Exam Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025
Deadline to register: Wednesday, October 29, 2025
Fee: $71 payable via credit or debit card
