A Bit About Me
My name is Julia Wright and I am from Wantagh, New York. I began my Catholic education at St. William the Abbot School in Seaford and continued at Our Lady of Mercy Academy High School in Syosset. I attended college at SUNY Cortland following their Inclusive Education Program and received a dual degree in Special Education grades 1-6 and General Education grades 1-6. I am currently working towards completion of my Master’s degree from Queens College in the TESOL k-12 program. This is my first year as a lead teacher and I could not be more excited.
Message to Students
Kindergarten students can look forward to a year full of learning and playing with new friends! We will have many opportunities for some of our favorite things to do such as play time, coloring, singing, dancing, and story time! This is a year filled with discovery, creativity, and independence! I look forward to getting to know each of our kindergarteners who bring their own unique talents, experiences, and personalities to share in the classroom. Kindergarten special classes will include physical education, music, art, and Spanish. This is going to be a great year!
