- Our Program
  
  Our Early Childhood program is designed to meet the needs of each child to develop their strengths and build upon their unique gifts and talents. Teachers know and nurture each child with love and care.
  Nursery is for students turning age 3 by December 1.
  Pre-K is for students turning age 4 by December 1st.

- Daily Schedule
  
  Nursery & Pre-K programs are 5-day full day programs that follow the same school hours as Kindergarten through Grade 8. Doors open each day at 7:00 am for early drop-off and stay open until 5:30 pm each day.
  
  The school day includes time focused on pre-reading and writing skills, gross and fine-motor development, socialization and play, physical activity, snack, lunch, and rest time.

- Two-Way Dual Language Immersion Program
  
  Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School is a proud member of the Boston College Two-Way Immersion Network for Catholic Schools - one of only two Catholic schools in New York State to partner with the prestigious Boston College network.
  
  As of September of 2025, students in Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd Grade will participate in a 50/50 dual-language immersion program in which 50% of instruction is provided in English and 50% of instruction is provided in Spanish.
  
  For the 2025-26 school year, the dual-language program expanded into 3rd grade and will increase by one grade level per year moving forward - providing our students with a pathway to becoming fully bilingual and biliterate by graduation in the 8th grade.

- Who leads your childcare program? How do you select teachers? What is their training?
  All of our teachers are certified or in the process of acquiring certification as Birth - Grade 2 educators. Nursery and Pre-K classes also benefit from the support of a caring and nurturing teacher’s aide. We are very selective in choosing highly effective, compassionate, and caring teachers to serve as part of the OLG faculty. Teachers take part in continuous professional development to ensure each child receives the best academic, social, emotional, and spiritual care possible.
- What are special features of your School?
  Early drop-off at 7:00 am and late pick-up at 5:30 pm.
  Dual-language program in grades Pre-K through 3rd grade for the 2025-26 school year and will expand to 4th grade for the 2026-27 school year.
- What food and snacks do you offer? How do you accommodate food allergies?
  Hot and cold lunch options are available for lunch. Our Nurse will work with faculty to monitor all health concerns.
- Do you have an on-site School Nurse?
  Yes. From 8:00 am -3:00 pm.
- What interaction does the Early Childhood Program have with Elementary Students?
  We encourage frequent interactions with older students as Book Buddies, Mass Buddies, and other opportunities for older students to serve as role models of service to their younger schoolmates and form meaningful relationships that carry on from year to year.

  Do you offer monthly payment plans?
  Yes. We offer a 10 month payment option.
  
  Do you offer scholarships?
  We do not offer scholarships for Early Childhood, but we do offer reduced tuition for K-8 for children who are baptized in the Catholic Church and belong to a Diocesan parish.
