Where are you from? 
I’m originally from West Babylon but moved to Yaphank. I love the atmosphere and nature the east end encompasses.

What is your education?
I went to school at SUNY Farmingdale to receive my Associates Degree. Then, I studied at St. Joseph’s College & received my Bachelor’s degree in Child study & received my teaching certifications in General and Special education Birth - 6th grade. I plan on furthering my education and receiving my TESOL certification.

How long have you been a teacher:
This will be my first year teaching science.

Favorite Saint?
Saint Francis for he is the patron saint of animals and the environment.

Favorite Quote?
“Have a little faith.”

Favorite Book?
The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton

Favorite Verse?

2021 - 2022 School Year

Welcome Students!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Victoria Welliver and I am the 5th & 6th grade Science teacher. I am so excited to be apart of this journey and new mission here at Our Lady of Guadalupe as well as sharing this new chapter with my students. I can’t wait to blossom into this new school year & watch each student Grow! This year the students will be experimenting and studying diverse minerals, rocks, plants, different processes & human body systems. We will dive into life, earth & physical science for 5th grade & 6th grade will focus on Earth science. I have glofish & a green tree frog in my class which we will be taking care of and studying diverse ecosystems & kingdoms/species. There are many opportunities to receive extra credit or no homework slips!
