What can your students look forward to this year?
Exploring Literature through different lenses and alternative modes.

What is unique or interesting about your class?
Unlike most english classes, students will have the ability to choose many of the books they study and the themes explored thought the year. The students will learn though conversation about books and exploration of literature that goes beyond the pages of written text.

What is something different or cool from what they may have learned/experienced last year?

This year, students will partake in a bi-monthy book clubs where they will meet with a group of children to discuss the book they have chosen to read based off of a similar theme, author or style. This will allow the students to become more autonomous readers and begin to enjoy books and literary study from a different view.

Message to Parents
Thank you for chooses OLG for your student. At OLG your child will create memories and friends to last a lifetime all the while receiving an education though that Catholic lens that will allow them to become a more well rounded individual!

It being my second year at OLG and first year in upper school. I am excited to meet more parents and continue to build relationships with the students.
